Kris Miller called Gig Harbor home. She built a life centered on family, hard work, community, and the simple joys that mattered most.
Kris gave years of her time to the local youth soccer community, supporting teams and organizations in the steady, behind-the-scenes way that reflected who she was. She loved the ocean, treasured time with her family, and took particular joy in her gardens and hydrangeas.
Above all, Kris was a devoted wife, mother, and proud Gramma. She made the people around her feel supported, remembered, and cared for. Her humility, loyalty, and thoughtfulness left a lasting mark on her family and community.
During her final days, Kris and her family were cared for at The Hospice House. The compassion they experienced there helped inspire this Foundation: to give back to hospice care, to bring the community together, and to help local students become the nurses and caregivers of tomorrow.
